Floors again...

I came home on Friday night from a short business trip to Orlando to find that my dear husband had recruited his two friends from work Mike and Jergen to help him lay down our floors. As you remember from the post back in February, our downstairs floors had to be removed because of the flood (courtesy of our neighbors). We made out well with the insurance company and found floors that almost matched exactly to the stairs. But then we were up against TIME. We decided that we really needed to save the $$$ on labor and have Dave do it because we knew that finances would be tight in the summer (and they were). Needless to say, Dave just hasn't had the TIME to do it not to mention our sliding glass door kept leaking every time it rained and we don't want to worry about water damage again.
I would post pics, but I can't find my card reader (have a feeling Joshy knows where it is).
Anyway Dave has just laid down the final piece about 10 minutes ago. Yeh!!! My house is pretty again. I promise to post pics, but here's someone else's wood floors so you'll get the idea.
