Thanks for praying for my Joshy. Coming out of the anesthesia was rough... he screamed and fought us for about an hour and half before he calmed down after the surgery. But by lunch time he was feeling much better... he chowed down on the chicken fingers from Papa John's (thank you Logans). He even went to school yesterday. It amazes me how resilient kids are. They recover so quickly.
So now both boys have ear tubes to prevent ear infections and today they both got their flu shots. I got mine last week. Now, Dave needs his and then we are ready for the cold/flu season. I am not repeating last season.... We all got the flu twice...Joshy had febrile(fever) seizures from the flu.... David had walking pneumonia during Christmas from his flu.
So word to the wise if you have small children in school or are around small children who go to school or daycare get your flu shot. It's worth it!!!!!

Hey there, glad to hear that all is ok, now. chicken fingers, huh? I miss those Papa John's pizzas. Vicky, I got the REAL chicken fingers(really chicken toes)here, man. :O) ...and RICE,too. Don't forget about us, we're coming home, soon, Lord-willing.
hey vicks....im glad joshy is back to his normal self...missed you guys at church yesterday.....maybe we can visit you guys this week...love you guys....hope you guys don't get the flu :)
