This week I encountered many, many people who are hurting this holiday season. Especially this time of year we need to pray for those who are hurting.
Please pray for the following people that I encountered just this week:
1. For the family of a young 18 year old who was on one of my yearbook staffs last year who just had a baby. Her boyfriend shot and killed her on Monday, took the baby and shot himself.
2. For the family of a 16 year old who died over the weekend from injuries from a car accident
3. For a miracle for a little 5 year old and her family who found out she has an inoperable brain tumor
4. For the 12 employees at one of my schools who lost their job this week
Yes, times are tough for most of us financially, but be thankful for the big things: the health of your children, friends and family who love you and the peace and comfort that can only come from God.
