Family Flu Shot

Yes, your family too can participate in a family flu shot @ your local pediatrician's office. On Monday my kids were finally over all colds, infections etc. So, we made a beeline after school for Dr. George's office for their flu shot. They both have asthma, and we all had the flu twice two years ago. Therefore, the Aguirre's don't mess with the flu anymore. So, we got to the office and Dr. George offered to give Dave and me our shots at the same time. So first went Mommy, then Daddy, Jon (who didn't cry...go Jon), and then Josh (who was pretty hacked off at Dr. George for not only hurting me but all of us). His little feelings were devastated (usually the doctor has the nurse do the evil duty of administering shots).
So, we are ready for whatever strand of the flu the CDC has decided will be most prevalent.

Most people don't get a flu shot, so here's when you should: you are a medical provider, you live with small children or elderly people, or you are a small child or an elderly person. 35,000 people die each from complications related to the flu.
