End of the School Year recap

So much happened at the end of the year that I definitely couldn't keep up with all of the events on the blog. Some I covered like Jon's Three Trees program and of course my precious gifts on for Mother's and Father's day. The most important events that I failed to mention were the boys' end of the year awards ceremonies. Yes, in prek-1 and prek-4 these are momentous occasions.
Jon received the Top Reader and Top Math award and of course his Diploma from prek-4. But the best award (which I must say I was a little surprised) was the Christian Testimony award (character). As Mrs. Trapero described, "he may be a little pistol sometimes, he is the most loving and caring little boy here". Dave and I were both boo hoo crying. I guess with the Lord's help we are doing something right.
Jon also had a huge end of the year splish splash party with giant waterslides galore. He even got a real fish to take home (and it's still alive :)).

Then our dear little Joshy also received his diploma from prek-1 and a beautiful scrapbook with all of his work from the whole year. Aunt Marcy you will be proud that his work was displayed in the art gallery :).

They both had awesome school years and we were so blest with such wonderful teachers. The pics below cover the events and more. I will blog about swimming lessons next :).
