Christmas Post part 5 of 5--the rest of the day

After we opened presents with the boys and had a wonderful Christmas lunch with a honey glazed ham...cooked by yours truly under the instruction of my Dad of course :), my mom, brother, grandmother, aunt and cousin Matt went to visit my Papi at the hospital. My grandmother was having a really good day and was very anxious to see my Papi as were all of us. He is doing a little better, but still has a feeding tube, has difficulty speaking, and can't walk yet. We stayed with him for awhile until he fell asleep watching the Heat game. The neatest part about the visit were the caroling nurses. They went room by room singing Christmas songs to the patients. Then we took my Abuela back to her rehab center and hung out with her.
Later that day my Aunt Anna came with her kids from Palm Bay to eat dinner with us. My cousin Bobby (19 years old) who attends NAPS (the Naval Academy Prep School) in Rhode Island is a chaplain on the Naval Base where the academy is located. They have had a shortage of Chaplains so he offered to help so they went ahead and made him a chaplain. He leads a Bible study in which officers, his classmates and others attend. He is working and studying super hard to make it into the Naval Academy next year. I know God will open the doors as he already has for Bobby.
