Reflection on this Week

It's times like these when you reflect at where you are in life. Are you running the rat race and just surviving? Or do you have relationship with God and striving to make a kingdom difference? As you have read in other posts, I sometimes feel like I am surviving the rat race. I want to make a kingdom difference in all I do, but sometimes I get so caught in the logistics of life...work, kids, schedules, etc. that I feel I miss the mark.

Eddie's funeral (celebration) service was probably one of the most powerful services I have ever experienced. I truly was overcome by the presence of the Lord and the testimony of Eddie and his Family. With every song that was sung the family was the first to sing with all their hearts and raise their hands in praise. They had faith and peace knowing that Eddie was with their Heavenly Father. Probably the most moving thing was how Eddie's father and wife truly allowed the Lord to speak through them as they pleaded for everyone to make sure they were ready to meet the Lord. Many, many people were saved that night having been moved by their testimony.

Yes, it is sad to lose someone so young, but what an incredible testimony that even in your death souls are being won for the kingdom.

Vicky,
Beautiful words...The Vegilla's family are really a powerful and inspirational testimony. May the Lord use them mightly through this loss.

And you are a beautiful testimony too! especially how you and David honor your parents. Just to encourage you during your rat race read Prov. 31:13-16 you are becoming her. The virtuous woman works even having mates to help her..just keep running the race!
You are doing great...
